Since 2012, LitterLocker has been working closely with the Montreal SPCA to help new owners of cats who have chosen to adopt or become a foster family.
When the first LitterLocker soiled litter disposal system was launched, it was imperative for us to partner with shelters that help abandoned cats, mainly the Montreal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). We know that these organizations are constantly looking for accessories to help improve the quality of life of their little companions. So it goes without saying that we proudly support them by providing them with quality goods, recognized for their effectiveness. In 2018, 800 litter pails were donated to new foster families through the SPCA team.
When a new cat owner brings his new friend home, he offers him a safe, quiet place. This space must at least include a clean litter box without dome. Using the soiled litter disposal system daily is a great service to the cat, especially when he is vulnerable and anxious because he’s been abandoned and went through a drastic change of territory. Therefore, cleaning their litter box will deter any inappropriate elimination, as the litter will be clean and odor-free. The LitterLocker system makes life easier for every cat owner, giving them more time to spend with their fur baby!
